Yes, absolutely! This is not rocket science. And besides, you won’t be alone during the process anyway. We can help you with every decision - from hair density, to choice of base - either by E-mail or by telephone consultation.

3. Would sending a picture of myself, or of someone who sports the hair style I want to achieve, help?

Without a doubt, yes! A picture is worth a million words in the hair styling game. Not only will this help us with the styling and cut-in, but it will also indicate clearly which Base Choice, Color Mix and Hair Density choice is necessary to make your hair wish come true. 4. Help! I’m only twenty-three years old and my hair is already receding. Should I begin wearing a hair replacement now, or wait until I reach “Comb-over time”?

First, you have our sympathy. Nothing can damage a young man’s confidence more than losing his hair at an early age. Therefore, why not cut that anxiety off at the pass, and get a small, undetectable hair system going now. If you attack the problem early, there will be no sudden, drastic change in your appearance for your buddies to kid you about. Most likely the most common question will be “Have you been working out?”

5. Where will my new hair come from?

From our hair farm in Pago Pago, of course! No, seriously guys, if you select human hair, it will no doubt come from India. But it will be processed to perfectly resemble healthy European hair . And by the way, authentic European hair is almost impossible to come by these days. Plus, you probably would not be happy with it anyway. It tangles terribly and requires extreme care to remain looking good for any length of time.

6. Should I go with a lace front?

If you want the most Undetectable Hairline possible, the answer is yes. But lace is also very fragile, so if you don’t plan to wear your hair in a combed-back style, you might be better off with a see-through skin-front. They too look great.

7. How long will my new hair system last?

That, my friend, depends on you. If you wear your unit 24/7, it’s not going to last as long for you as it would for the guy who takes his off every night. And if you choose a fragile, full-lace base, obviously it’s not going to last as long as one that’s reinforced with good strong polyurethane. We have clients who feel they need a new unit every 60 days, and others who can go a year or more with the same unit. Generally, we recommend that with a little TLC, your hair replacement should still be looking good at six to eight months. But after that, you should be getting yourself ready for a new system.

8. Should I have two systems at all times?

Yes, though we do realize it requires a bigger financial investment, having a spare is a great idea. If you are an athletic guy, or the owner a rambunctious dog or cat, hair accidents can happen. And without a spare, your head - and your pride - just might end up out in the cold.

9. How long will the creation of my new hair system take?

Generally, most systems take five to six weeks, from order to delivery. We are occasionally asked to speed up this process, but inevitably the unit will end up a little less perfect than what we - and the client - had hoped for. So please, give our technicians the time they need to do their usual excellent work.

10. Should I go with daily-wear or a semi-permanent bond?

Once again, that depends to a large degree on your life style and how long you want your system to last. By the way, there is nothing preventing you from trying varying lengths of wear before deciding which is most comfortable for you.

11. Can I maintain my new hair system at home?

Sure, of course you can. Click4hair.com sells all the Tape, Adhesives and other Accessories you will need to care for your hair system.

12. What do I do when my own hair needs cutting?

Go to a professional stylist. All they need to do is pin up the hair attached to your system base, and then trim your growing hair below. Just make sure they are careful not to cut your existing hair too short. Slightly less than equal length is ideal.
